The Romsons Chest Drainage Catheter Straight is specially designed for quick nonoperative pleural and chest drainage. Markings are provided at 5, 10, 15 & 20 cm from the distal tip to help ascertain the depth of penetration. The proximal end is fitted with a tapered connector for easy connection to a drainage bottle. It is sterile, individually double packed in a peelable pouch- These are available in sizes of 16FG, 20FG, 24FG, 28FG, and 32FG. Thoracic drainage catheters are most suitable for post-operative drainage following cardio-thoracic surgeries. The distal end is open with super smooth large eyes to maximize the drainage from the chest.
The proximal end is fitted with the specially designed tapered tongue to provide excellent forceps grip and non-traumatic insertion.
