Opsite Post – Op is a transparent waterproof dressing with absorbent pad indicated to dress acute wounds such as abrasions, post-operative wounds, minor burns, cuts and lacerations where levels of exudate are low/moderate.
The Smith & Nephew Opsite Post-op Composite Dressing is a post-operative dressing that combines a high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) film & the cushioning & absorbent nature of a low adherent pad. The hydrophilic polyurethane film in the dressing has REACTIC properties that enable excess moisture to vapourize. The bacterial barrier protects the site against external contamination. The Smith & Nephew Opsite Post-op Composite Dressing is a waterproof dressing & patients can bathe without removing the dressing. The transparent film allows monitoring of fluid levels without removing the dressing. The Smith & Nephew Opsite Post-op Composite Dressing is highly conformable & can be used for the most awkward body surfaces.
