Healthium (Sutures India) Truglyde SFN 2493 is a sterile, synthetic absorbable surgical suture made from braided and coated polyglycolic acid. It is designed for soft tissue approximation across various surgical specialties.

It offers excellent tensile strength and handling for efficient and secure wound closure with a suture length of 45 cm and USP size 5-0 (1 metric). This suture comes with a 12 mm, 3/8 circle reverse cutting round-bodied needle, double-armed for improved performance.

Truglyde ensures minimal tissue reaction and provides predictable absorption, offering wound support for up to 28 days and complete absorption by 90 days through hydrolysis. Its coating of polycaprolactone and calcium stearate allows smooth passage and reliable knot security.
