Healthium (Sutures India) Trusilk SN 5061PCM is a sterile, non-absorbable surgical suture made from natural silk fibers. It is braided and coated with beeswax, offering a smooth texture that minimizes tissue trauma during suturing.

This suture is ideal for skin closures and soft tissue approximation or ligation in surgeries that require long-term wound support, except where permanent tensile strength is necessary. The Trusilk suture (USP 4, 76 cm) features a 35 mm round bodied needle with a 1/2 circle curvature, designed for precision and easy handling.

It is non-absorbable, gradually loses tensile strength over time due to the natural degradation of silk fibers. It is sterilized using ethylene oxide and dyed black for better visibility during surgical procedures.
